Cloudflare is seeking a Deal Intelligence Analyst to serve as the analytical engine driving the transition to a data-centric and AI-augmented Deal Desk within the Finance function. This is a full-stack analyst role where you will design data systems and executive dashboards that enable deal architects to analyze complex deal terms, protect margins, and close large, complex commitment deals with velocity.
You will leverage Cloudflare's Developer Platform (Workers, R2, D1, Workers AI) alongside standard data warehousing tools to extract raw CRM and CPQ data, integrate it into AI workflows, and deliver actionable insights that directly impact margin preservation and global growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and maintain executive dashboards and self-serve reporting systems providing real-time visibility into deal terms, discount thresholds, win/loss rates, and margin performance across regions
- Partner with stakeholders to refine ideas and goals into automated queries
- Conduct strategic margin analysis by diving deep into historic and active pricing data to ensure quoting strategies align with margin preservation goals
- Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines that extract data from Salesforce, CPQ, and billing systems, transforming it into clean, usable semantic models
- Assist in integrating structured deal data into Deal Desk tools to automate routine approvals and surface real-time pricing optimizations
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable narratives for non-technical stakeholders, empowering the Deal Desk team to use data products for faster, data-driven negotiations
The Deal Desk team is a critical component of Finance, serving as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders while structuring, negotiating, approving, and closing large complex commitment deals while balancing margin preservation, compliance, and velocity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or technical RevOps role with strong emphasis on full-stack data problem solving
- Experience incorporating data into AI workflows, utilizing LLM orchestration frameworks, or building predictive models
- Expert-level SQL and deep proficiency in modern data visualization and BI platforms (Tableau, Looker, Sigma, PowerBI)
- Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript with hands-on experience building ELT/ETL pipelines, interacting with APIs, and cleaning raw data
- Experience designing analytical data models for financial and SaaS business analysis (margins, discount rates, ARR, NRR)
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and interest in edge computing/serverless architectures (Cloudflare Workers, R2, D1)
- Domain expertise in CRM data structures (especially Salesforce custom objects), CPQ complexities, and quote-to-cash lifecycle
- Exceptional communication skills bridging technical data systems and strategic Finance operations
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Background working with Deal Desk, Finance, or Sales Strategy teams at high-growth SaaS or technology company
- Familiarity with data transformation frameworks and orchestration tools (Airflow)
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or other analytics databases
