Binance is seeking a Data Analyst Team Lead to oversee a high-performing, multidisciplinary Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will design and build complex visualizations and analytical models to understand the impact of market and operational changes on the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising analytics team members while managing their professional development
- Working closely with operational and functional areas to identify, prioritize, and deliver impactful analytical use cases
- Translating complex findings into clear visualizations and actionable recommendations for execution
- Analyzing and interpreting petabyte-scale volumes of transactional, operational, and customer data using proprietary and open-source tools
- Operating in a fast-paced environment where time-to-market is critical
- Shaping the future direction and strategy of the analytics team
This is an opportunity to lead analytics at a major cryptocurrency and blockchain platform, working with massive datasets and driving data-informed decision-making across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences)
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience applying advanced analytics
- Demonstrated experience supervising analytics or engineering teams
- Proven track record applying analytical techniques to guide operational improvements, scheduling, asset utilization, or investment decisions
- Strong abstract thinking, problem-solving, and ability to handle ambiguity
- Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and time management skills
- Advanced competency in two or more of: analytical software (R, SAS), data visualization tools (Qlikview, Tableau, PowerBI), relational/graph database management (SQL, NoSQL, Neo4J), or programming languages (VBA, C++, Java, Python)
