The Credit team at Revolut creates and scales lending features that power global growth, managing the entire product lifecycle from backend systems to customer-facing experiences. This role sits within that team, focused on designing credit risk policies, procedures, and strategies for retail lending features. As Credit Manager (Policy), you will own the design and validation of credit underwriting strategies, leading both preventative and reactive actions to market and product offerings. Key responsibilities include: • Developing account-level valuation and credit underwriting policies using NPV frameworks to improve portfolio-level economic returns • Making data-driven decisions with emphasis on marginal decision-making • Managing credit limits, risk-based pricing, retention strategies, and over-limit policies • Adjusting risk-return requirements and managing portfolio returns as new data emerges • Supporting annual budget, forecast, and planning processes from concept to delivery • Tracking, communicating, and drawing insights from performance of ongoing initiatives while monitoring credit KPIs intensively • Identifying operational inefficiencies and managing implementation of small-scale changes within the Credit department • Ensuring approval and strong ratings from first-line, second-line, third-line credit risk functions, and regulators REQUIREMENTS: • Experience managing the risk cycle for retail credit products (credit cards, unsecured personal loans, etc.) • Bachelor's degree from a top university in a quantitative/analytical field (engineering, statistics, physics, mathematics, economics, or management) • Solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks to work effectively with 2nd/3rd line of defence • Track record of delivering excellent results that exceed requirements • Forward-thinking approach to planning, meeting multiple objectives, and proactively identifying/resolving issues • Knowledge of credit and behavioural scoring models, especially for retail credit products • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply • Understanding of the value of speed to market and ability to balance elegant problem-solving with business needs NICE TO HAVE: • Master's degree • Excellent working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, and/or other data analysis tools • Willingness to learn new technology to help the business scale
