Revolut is a global fintech company on a mission to deliver more visibility, control, and freedom with money. The Credit team creates and scales lending features that power global growth, managing the entire product lifecycle from backend systems to customer-facing experiences. As Credit Manager (Policy), you will design credit risk policies, procedures, and strategies for retail lending features. You'll manage validation of underwriting strategy and lead preventative and reactive actions to market and product offerings. Key responsibilities include: - Developing account-level valuation and credit underwriting policies using NPV frameworks to improve portfolio-level economic returns - Making data-driven decisions with focus on marginal decision-making - Managing credit limits, risk-based pricing, retention strategies, and over-limit policies - Adjusting risk-return requirements and managing portfolio returns as new data emerges - Supporting annual budget, forecast, and planning processes from concept to delivery - Tracking, communicating, and drawing insights from performance of ongoing initiatives while monitoring credit KPIs intensively - Identifying operational inefficiencies and managing implementation of small-scale changes within the Credit department - Ensuring approval and good rating of first-line credit risk function from second line, third line, and regulators Requirements: - Proven track record managing the risk cycle for retail credit products (credit cards, unsecured personal loans, etc.) - Bachelor's degree from a top university in a quantitative/analytical field (engineering, statistics, physics, mathematics, economics, or management) - Solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks to work through 2nd/3rd line of defence competently - Knowledge of credit and behavioural scoring models, especially for retail credit products - Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply - Understanding of the value of speed to market and ability to balance elegant problem-solving with business needs - Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent results that exceed requirements - Forward-thinking approach to planning, meeting multiple objectives, and proactively identifying/resolving issues Nice to have: - Master's degree - Excellent working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, and/or other data analysis tools - Willingness to learn new technology to help the business scale
