EcoVadis, a leading provider of business sustainability ratings, seeks a Corporate Lawyer to join its Legal Team as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders across the organization. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will provide comprehensive legal support for transactional, compliance, and governance matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as lead lawyer on legal requests, providing strategic legal advice to business teams
- Guide the Sales team on contract risks and commercial solutions, balancing business objectives with legal requirements
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including SaaS agreements, contract addenda, NDAs, termination letters, and customer-facing documents
- Maintain contract templates and oversee internal approval workflows
- Collaborate with insurance brokers on contractual endorsements
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to the Americas Sales Team on legal matters
- Monitor regulatory developments impacting EcoVadis business and provide timely recommendations
- Lead the adoption and integration of AI-powered legal technology tools to streamline contract review and improve workflow efficiency
- Coordinate external legal counsel support as needed

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
- 10 years of experience as a U.S. practicing transactional lawyer, with at least 3 years of SaaS negotiations
- Active license to practice law in the United States
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and contract drafting abilities
- Ability to communicate professionally with both internal stakeholders and external legal representatives
