Salary: USD 128,413 - 171,229 / annual
Babylist, a leading platform for expecting and new families with $750M in revenue, is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to join its growing Finance team. You will report to the Director of Corporate Finance and partner with the VP of Finance on consolidations, opex, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting, internal business reviews, external board reporting, and ad hoc analyses.
In this role, you will own the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes end-to-end, including the forecast calendar, key milestones, and long-term financial modeling. You will develop deep understanding of the Babylist business model and key financial levers, delivering insights that connect numbers to underlying business drivers. You will contribute to executive and board presentation materials, prepare consolidated financial statements, and analyze actual-to-expected performance with rigorous variance commentary.
You will own and improve the total company opex budgeting process at the GL and department level, building inspection mechanisms that hold budget owners accountable. You will develop and maintain financial models and reports to support key business decisions, perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, and proactively surface insights and risks to leadership.
A key aspect of this role is identifying and implementing AI-enabled automation across FP&A workflows—actively experimenting with AI tools to reduce manual effort on reporting, modeling, variance analysis, and deck production, then sharing learnings across the Finance team. You will improve and scale by developing repeatable processes and implementing enhancements to planning and forecast systems.
The role requires high degree of independent ownership, rigorous accuracy, and proactive communication. You frame problems yourself, build mechanisms that keep budgets and forecasts honest, and bring recommendations rather than questions, often where no template or precedent exists. You operate with meaningful autonomy and take pride in exceptional quality control, building review checkpoints and reconciliations into every deliverable before it leaves your desk.
Babylist is remote-first with team members across the U.S. and Canada. The company moves fast, thinks smart, and uses AI as part of how they work every day—not as an experiment, but as an expectation. Team members come together twice a year to build relationships.
