Salary: USD 175,000 - 190,000 / annual

Constrafor is a SaaS and fintech platform rebuilding financial infrastructure for the construction industry. The company has raised $30M+ in VC funding and is scaling rapidly to modernize how general contractors and subcontractors manage procurement and financial transactions. As Controller & Treasury Operations Manager, you will sit at the center of how money moves through the business. You'll manage daily mechanics of the Early Pay Program (EPP), funding customers through the invoice factoring product, reconciling transactions, and maintaining accurate books as the company scales. This is a hands-on role requiring precision and process discipline. Key responsibilities include: - Execute daily funding transactions for the Early Pay Program, moving capital from credit facilities to fund customer invoices - Own treasury operations end-to-end: cash positioning, funding schedules, and coordination with credit facility providers - Partner with Product and Engineering to identify manual payment workflows and drive automation for improved speed, accuracy, and scalability - Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, facility ledgers, and internal systems - Maintain accurate records for EPP transactions, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger postings - Support month-end and year-end close processes with account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting - Monitor facility covenants, borrowing base calculations, and funding availability for credit agreement compliance - Partner with Risk and Credit teams to ensure funded transactions align with underwriting and approval requirements - Identify and resolve discrepancies between internal records, bank statements, and facility reporting - Help build and improve treasury and accounting processes, controls, and documentation as the company scales - Support internal and external audits with schedules, reconciliations, and documentation - Maintain strong working knowledge of company policies related to funding, disbursements, and cash controls Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - 4+ years of experience in treasury operations, accounting, or related finance function - Experience in fintech, factoring, or asset-based lending is a plus - Strong understanding of cash management, funding processes, and reconciliation procedures - Working knowledge of GAAP and experience with journal entries and month-end close - Experience or strong interest in working with Product and Engineering teams to build automated financial workflows - Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and commitment to accuracy - Comfortable with high transaction volumes and tight daily deadlines - Proficiency with accounting and treasury tools (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems) and strong Excel skills - Ability to work cross-functionally with Credit, Risk, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams - Experience in startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and proactive approach
