MaintainX, now part of Autodesk Operations Solutions, is a mobile-first work execution platform used by over 13,000 customers including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL, and Volvo to reduce unplanned downtime and optimize operations across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders. You will join the Solutions Consulting team as the Operational Technology (OT) integration specialist, working closely with sales, implementation, and product teams. Your role is to be the technical expert who demonstrates to factory and facility teams how MaintainX connects to the systems running their machines—leveraging OT data connectors for Ignition, Kepware, and MQTT, plus wireless vibration monitoring solutions. When a prospect's equipment data lives in a SCADA layer or historian system, the sales team will call you. Key Responsibilities: - Lead OT discovery with operations and automation teams, mapping their data sources to the right connector to clarify scope before deal closure. - Deliver live demonstrations of OT connectors using the prospect's actual equipment and data, so buyers see their factory in MaintainX, not a slide. - Define integration scope jointly with implementation and professional services teams to ensure each integration is sold with appropriate services and deployed as promised. - Collaborate with solutions architects on custom OT requirements that pre-built connectors don't cover, delivering clear technical briefs. - Document recurring integration requests as product feedback so the connector roadmap reflects actual customer demand. - Work daily with account directors, solutions architects, implementation teams, Product, and R&D; mentor sales on when to engage you. - Support a portfolio of clients primarily in English-speaking markets (US and English Canada), requiring daily verbal and written English communication. - Travel to customer sites as needed. Within six months, you will be the go-to person for all OT discussions. Within twelve months, the connectors you've presented will be live at customers and your feedback will shape what the team builds next. Requirements: - Minimum 3 years in a technical customer-facing role: solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, implementation, integrations, or similar. - Hands-on exposure to manufacturing or industrial operations; understanding of how factory work operates. - Experience designing or supporting API integrations, data flows, or automation. - Practical knowledge of OT data sources: SCADA systems, historians, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or industrial gateways. - Ability to explain data flows to an operations manager and IT director in the same meeting, adapting your message to each audience. - Experience managing multiple simultaneous evaluations while mastering each technical detail. Desirable: - Hands-on experience with Ignition, Kepware, MQTT, or OPC UA. - Experience with integration tools like Workato, Boomi, Tray.io, or Zapier, or ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). - Background in predictive or condition-based maintenance.
