Rula is seeking a Compliance Manager to support and strengthen its compliance program within a remote-first healthcare organization focused on mental health and addiction treatment. This role reports to the Director of Compliance and will be instrumental in supporting day-to-day compliance operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing compliance advisory support to business stakeholders across the organization
- Independently performing compliance investigations and reviews
- Assisting with auditing and monitoring activities to ensure regulatory adherence
- Advancing policy governance and development
- Translating healthcare regulations into practical guidance that balances risk and business needs
- Collaborating with Legal and other key stakeholders on compliance concerns and risks
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working independently while supporting cross-functional teams. This is a full-time remote position based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of healthcare compliance experience, including policy development, regulatory interpretation, and program implementation
- 3+ years conducting or supporting compliance reviews and investigations
- Experience collaborating with business and legal stakeholders on compliance concerns and risks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying healthcare regulations including HIPAA, CMS guidance, OIG compliance program guidance, and applicable federal and state healthcare laws
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree and/or Juris Doctor or equivalent advanced training in healthcare law, compliance, or public health
- 2+ years of experience in telehealth, privacy, and/or behavioral health compliance
- 2+ years of experience conducting compliance audits and risk assessments
- Certification in general healthcare compliance
- Experience with tools such as Zendesk, Salesforce, EHR platforms, AI tools, and reporting/data platforms
