Allica Bank, the UK's fastest-growing fintech firm, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join its expanding regulatory team in London. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, you will be part of the second line of defence, supporting the Bank's compliance oversight as it scales its SME-focused lending business.
You will support the development and implementation of the Bank's Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP), including undertaking monthly controls testing, preparing reports with findings and recommended actions, and supporting business-wide thematic reviews. You will assist in collecting data for regulatory reporting, conduct horizon scanning, and provide regulatory and compliance advice to key stakeholders across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing compliance enquiries, supporting the Senior Compliance Manager and Head of Compliance/MLRO in executive committees and project working groups, and collaborating with the Financial Crime team to address compliance and financial crime risks.
You will contribute to the Bank's commercial success while promoting fair customer treatment and good customer outcomes, actively participating in Conduct Risk and TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) activities. The role offers opportunities to develop compliance expertise within a growing, agile, data-driven department.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Understanding and experience of Compliance Monitoring, Thematic Reviews, Regulatory Reporting, and the UK regulatory landscape, ideally from commercial banking or retail banking background
- Competent technical and systems skills to support second line of defence systems development and operation
- Ability to interact with diverse colleagues and stakeholders across the Bank; capability to deputise for the Senior Compliance Manager
- Industry-recognised qualifications from institutions such as the ICA (desirable)
- Experience working within Payments Regulations (desirable)
