Wiz is a rapidly growing cloud and AI security company, recently acquired by Google. The company is expanding its legal team in EMEA and seeking a Commercial Counsel to serve as a legal business partner to revenue teams across the region. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial agreements including SaaS contracts, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and NDAs. You will work closely with revenue and internal teams to accelerate contract velocity while maintaining appropriate risk management. Key responsibilities include: - Serving as a legal business partner to EMEA revenue teams, translating legal concepts and risks into business-relevant language - Taking ownership of contract lifecycle management—drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering agreements - Advising internal teams on contract interpretation and negotiation strategies - Understanding customer and internal stakeholder perspectives to solve problems collaboratively - Triaging a high-volume workflow and setting priorities with internal clients - Supporting continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes - Ensuring agreements comply with company policies and risk tolerance The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with minimal hierarchy. You should be detail-oriented, possess sound legal and business judgment, and have strong people skills. A keen interest in learning about Wiz's cloud security and AI platform is important. Requirements: - Admitted to the bar and in good standing, or otherwise authorized to practice law in Israel, the UK, or at least one European country, with a demonstrated record of success as a lawyer - 4+ years of in-house legal experience in a software/technology company - Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts (SaaS, professional services, partner agreements, NDAs) - Strong communication skills in English AND either French or German (both written and verbal) Preferred qualifications: - Deep knowledge of data privacy and hands-on experience negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) - Business-friendly approach with understanding that legal's primary purpose is supporting business growth - Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems - Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member Note: Applicants must have legal right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
