Wiz is a rapidly growing cloud and AI security company, recently acquired by Google. The company is expanding its legal team in EMEA and seeking an experienced in-house counsel to serve as a legal business partner to revenue teams across the region.
In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial agreements including SaaS contracts, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and NDAs. You will act as a strategic legal advisor to internal business teams, translating complex legal concepts into business-friendly language and helping accelerate contract velocity through efficient negotiation and counsel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a legal business partner to EMEA revenue teams, communicating legal risks and concepts in business terms
- Taking ownership of the full lifecycle of commercial agreements—drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing
- Providing contract interpretation guidance to internal stakeholders to support deal closure
- Understanding customer perspectives and internal client needs to solve problems collaboratively
- Triaging and prioritizing a heavy workflow while delivering results efficiently
- Supporting continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes
- Ensuring agreements comply with company policies and risk tolerance
You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with minimal hierarchy, where legal judgment is balanced with business acumen. The role requires someone who thrives in change, pays close attention to detail, and brings constructive people skills to cross-functional partnerships.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing, or otherwise authorized to practice law in Israel, the UK, or at least one European country, with a demonstrated record of success as a lawyer
- 4+ years of in-house legal experience in a software/technology company
- Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts (SaaS, professional services, partner agreements, NDAs)
- Strong communication skills in English AND either French or German (both written and verbal)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Deep knowledge of data privacy and hands-on experience negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
- Business-friendly legal approach with understanding that the legal team supports business growth
- Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
