Wiz, one of the fastest-growing software companies ever, is expanding its legal team in EMEA and seeking a Commercial Counsel to join a collaborative, high-functioning legal team. You will serve as a legal business partner to Wiz's revenue teams across the EMEA region, providing sophisticated contract support and legal guidance that accelerates deal velocity. In this role, you will take ownership of drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial agreements including SaaS contracts, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and NDAs. You will communicate legal concepts and risks in business-friendly terms to internal stakeholders and customers, helping them understand contract implications and negotiation strategies. Your responsibilities include triaging a heavy workflow with appropriate prioritization, supporting continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes, and ensuring all agreements comply with company policies and risk tolerance. You will work in a fast-paced environment where change is constant, requiring strong attention to detail, sound legal judgment, and constructive interpersonal skills. The role emphasizes collaboration and minimizes hierarchy, with an expectation that you understand both Wiz's business model and the perspectives of our customers and internal clients. Wiz is a cloud and AI security platform trusted by over 65% of the Fortune 100, scanning and securing over 230 billion files daily. The company was recently acquired by Google, enhancing its AI-powered capabilities with Google's Threat Intelligence and Security Operations. REQUIREMENTS: - Admitted to the bar and in good standing, or otherwise authorized to practice law in Israel, the UK, or at least one European country, with a demonstrated record of success as a lawyer - 4+ years of in-house legal experience in a software/technology company - Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts (SaaS, professional services, partner agreements, NDAs) - Strong communication skills in English AND either French or German (both written and verbal) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Deep knowledge of data privacy and hands-on experience negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) - Business-friendly legal approach with understanding that the legal team's primary purpose is supporting business growth - Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems - Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member Note: Applicants must have legal right to work in the country where the position is based without visa sponsorship.
