Neko Health is redefining preventative care by making data-driven health insights accessible before symptoms appear. Through proprietary technology and direct clinical care, the company delivers personalized, actionable insights in a single non-invasive visit under an hour.
As Clinician Education Specialist for Launches, you will lead the clinical training and readiness efforts as Neko opens new clinic locations. This role is dedicated to launch operations and sits outside regular scanning rotations, allowing you to stay with each launch from initial training through go-live and the weeks following.
You will deliver Neko's global clinician onboarding program on-site at each new clinic and market opening across the full pre-launch window. You assess every clinician against global competency criteria and sign them off as ready to see members. During Friends and Family and VIP sessions, you scan and debrief to allow trainees to shadow real member encounters. A critical part of your role is identifying and training a local clinician educator partner during the launch, then handing over with clear, documented processes and responsibilities.
You will work closely with the Operator Launch Trainer to ensure both clinical and operational teams reach readiness together. You provide the Launch Manager with honest readiness assessments and flag timeline risks early. After each launch, you run a retrospective and feed learnings back into the clinic-opening playbook to continuously improve the process.
This role requires significant travel, including extended on-site stays during clinic openings. You are adaptable, direct, and calm under pressure—comfortable with ambiguity, able to build relationships quickly, hold standards even when timelines shift, and leave sites better set up than you found them.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active, unrestricted MD, DO, or NP licensure with 5+ years of clinical practice since qualifying, and willingness to obtain licensure wherever Neko opens
- 3+ years of recent hands-on scanning or comparable diagnostic clinical work, with quality metrics to evidence it
- 3+ years training, onboarding, or mentoring clinicians, including assessing competency and giving direct, constructive feedback
- 2+ years running a training or onboarding program against a fixed date and handing over a clear position at the end
- Able to travel for most of your working time, including extended stays on site at an opening
- Working style: adaptable, direct, and calm when plans change; comfortable with ambiguity; able to build relationships quickly; hold the standard under timeline pressure; leave sites better set up than you found them
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience opening a clinic, site, or service, especially in a new city or country
- Experience building a local trainer or educator from scratch
- Multi-state or multi-country licensure, or a background in preventive or lifestyle medicine
