Satispay is a fintech platform on a mission to empower people through finance, starting with payments and expanding into benefits, investing, and cards. As Chief Information Security Officer, you will define and lead the overarching information security and data protection strategy for this high-growth financial platform serving 6.5M+ users. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and oversee enterprise-wide information security strategy, including security architecture and least-privilege access control for cloud-native (AWS/GCP) environments to protect infrastructure, customer data, and the payment ecosystem. - Ensure full compliance with international standards and financial/payment industry regulations (ISO/IEC 27001, PSD2, GDPR, DORA) under CSSF oversight; drive the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and certification programme. - Identify, evaluate, and manage information security risks while balancing protection with continuous delivery and business agility. - Mature security operations (SOC, threat detection, monitoring) and lead the incident response framework, alongside business continuity and cyber resilience plans. - Lead, mentor, and grow an established multidisciplinary security team spanning offensive operations (penetration testing, vulnerability management, red teaming) and defensive operations (SOC, threat detection, incident response), plus secure development lifecycle (SDLC) practices. - Foster company-wide security culture through awareness training and phishing simulations. - Collaborate with the Board, executive peers, and regulatory bodies, translating complex security challenges into strategic business priorities. You will own outcomes that directly impact millions of users and businesses, make high-stakes decisions in a fast-moving environment, and lead alongside founders who are hands-on. Requirements: - 8+ years of senior information security leadership experience (CISO, VP of Security, or equivalent) in tech, scale-up, or regulated financial environments. - Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001) and financial service regulations relevant to e-money and digital payments, particularly DORA and PSD2, ideally in a CSSF-regulated context. - Proven capability to balance high-standard security requirements with business growth, speed, and innovation. - Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent. - Outstanding executive communication and stakeholder management skills to engage with Board, peers, and regulatory bodies. - Fluency in English (Italian is a strong plus).
