Salary: USD 115,100 - 169,200 / annual
BILL is a fintech company automating financial processes for businesses of all sizes. The company is undertaking one of its largest internal investments: a comprehensive finance transformation program replacing disconnected, manual systems with an integrated Oracle Fusion Cloud and Salesforce platform. The program spans Quote-to-Cash (QTC) and Core Finance, including order management, billing, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report functions.
As Change Manager for Finance Transformation, you will own the organizational change management (OCM) strategy and execution for this multi-release program. You will be BILL's primary change management lead, working alongside the systems integration partner and reporting directly to the Controller and Finance Transformation leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and own the OCM strategy and plan aligned to program milestones from Global Design through Release 1 (Oracle Financials) and Release 2 (Quote-to-Cash)
- Lead stakeholder and change impact assessments by workstream, translating technical design decisions into clear role, process, control, and policy changes for each impacted team
- Build and operate a change network of business process owners and key users across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Product to surface resistance early and drive readiness
- Establish leadership alignment and sponsor engagement plans, equipping executives with messages and decisions needed to drive adoption
- Develop and execute the program communications plan, including leadership messages, team briefings, and go-live readiness communications
- Partner with training leads and the systems integrator on end-user training strategy, needs analysis, and delivery across build, test, and cutover phases
- Define and track adoption and readiness metrics before and after go-live, using results to adjust plans and close gaps
- Report change management status, risks, and issues to the PMO and Steering Committees, escalating adoption risks early
This is a high-visibility role working directly with the Controller, Finance Transformation leadership, and business process owners across Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Procurement, Sales Operations, and Product. You will operate in a complex, matrixed organization and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Communications, or related field (MBA or graduate degree preferred)
- 7+ years of change management and/or communications experience on strategic transformations
- Hands-on experience leading change for an ERP or finance transformation (Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, or similar); Quote-to-Cash, billing, or revenue experience is a plus
- Proven ability to design and execute change strategies in complex, matrixed organizations, including working with external systems integrators
- Experience running stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments, change networks, and adoption metrics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical design into plain language for executives and end users
- Ability to influence without authority, build trusted relationships, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Prosci, ACMP (CCMP), or equivalent change management certification preferred
- Familiarity with AI tools to increase efficiency across change, communications, and training work
