RecargaPay is seeking a Business Specialist to serve as the lead analytics expert for the Credit Card product. You will drive high-impact growth and profitability initiatives across the credit card operation, from hypothesis through measured results, while supporting leadership in defining product strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct high-impact initiatives to grow the customer base, engagement, and profitability of the credit card product
- Diagnose retention, usage, and margin performance (P&L, unit economics, cohort analysis) and translate findings into prioritized actions based on financial impact
- Bridge cross-functional collaboration between Product, Credit Policy, Collections, and CRM/Martech teams, identifying and quantifying cross-functional impact
- Own budget and forecast models, ensuring they support area decision-making
- Support leadership in defining product roadmap, priorities, and strategy
- Leverage AI daily to accelerate analyses, automate routines, and elevate the technical standard of the team
You will combine technical rigor with business acumen, connecting data insights to financial outcomes. The role requires ownership mentality, autonomy to build from scratch, and the ability to communicate complex analyses to executives in a clear, decision-oriented manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Daily use of AI as an essential part of your work routine
- Solid SQL skills to explore and build your own analyses
- 3+ years in Business Analytics or related fields, preferably in credit, cards, or fintech
- Proven experience in P&L analysis, unit economics, and/or forecasting
- Advanced English or Spanish
- Technical expertise with causal inference and analytical rigor (not just descriptive analysis)
- Systems thinking and business vision, connecting data to financial results
- Owner mentality and autonomy to build solutions independently
- Executive communication skills, translating analysis into decisions for leadership
