Sportradar is the leading global provider of sports betting and sports entertainment products and services. The Operational Account Management (OAM) team acts as the main point of contact between the growing client base and Sportradar. We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support this unit by developing interactive analytical applications, scheduled customer reports, and ad hoc customer report requests.
In this role, you will deliver state-of-the-art data analytics and reporting solutions leveraging Sportradar's data. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop data visualizations and reports for analyzing datasets using Power BI and Excel
- Set up automatic report generation and distribution for periodic reporting
- Present ideas and solutions to business users and software developers in clear, understandable ways
- Propose innovative ways of using data to improve products and services
- Participate in data modeling for reporting and analytics
- Co-create and deliver an ambitious business intelligence roadmap in close coordination with various business and technical stakeholders across the organization
- Recommend and implement improvements to reporting processes to automate client requests
The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, global environment with engineering offices across Europe, Asia, and the US. The role operates on an office-first model with team members working in the office four days per week to foster stronger connections, encourage collaboration, and drive innovation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated technical expertise in business intelligence tools, design and development of data analytics solutions and reports, and querying databases with SQL
- Solid hands-on SQL skills: writing and optimizing queries, joins, and aggregations against large datasets
- Prior experience working on projects related to data management and/or business intelligence
- Hands-on development experience with software or analytics solutions
- Experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query) is beneficial; experience with comparable BI platforms is acceptable
- Knowledge of data governance practices and Power BI security (workspace access, row-level security, controlled sharing) is beneficial
- Knowledge of VBA is beneficial
- Experience with Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, and/or Microsoft SQL Server is beneficial
- Understanding of the gaming and sports betting industry is a strong advantage
