Allica Bank is the UK's fastest-growing fintech firm, focused on serving established SMEs—a major underserved segment representing over a third of the UK economy. The Broker Business Development Executive role is central to Allica's growth strategy, building and maintaining relationships with broker firms across the UK to drive new Business Rewards Account (BRA) adoption and manage the full client journey from referral through onboarding and funding.
In this position, you will manage a portfolio of commercial finance broker firms, conducting cold outreach, nurturing inbound interest, and developing active referrers into consistent introducers. You'll build trusted, consultative relationships with broker teams, increasing Allica's visibility and establishing the bank as their most recommended partner for SME financial services. You will introduce and support adoption of the Business Rewards Account and cash-management products, overseeing the complete onboarding, funding, and usage journey for clients.
Key responsibilities include qualifying lending opportunities and ensuring proper alignment with original brokers for products such as commercial mortgages and asset finance. You'll serve as the point of contact for complex client enquiries, providing best-in-class service that builds credibility with both customers and introducers. Collaboration with internal stakeholders—including the broker finance team, customer services, and marketing—is essential. You will attend events and webinars, provide knowledge packs and marketing support, and drive joint initiatives. Strong CRM discipline, portfolio management, and compliance adherence are critical to success.
The role may involve regional travel and requires a consultative sales approach. You may also work with accountancy firms that have commercial finance arms and wish to be remunerated for introductions.
