As an Automation QA Engineer, you will design, implement, and execute automated test scripts for a microservice-based web platform. You'll work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure software reliability and quality across the entire product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Automate end-to-end, UI, and API tests using Java, Selenide, Selenoid, Cucumber, and REST Assured
- Perform functional testing, design test cases based on user stories, and verify features across UI, API, and database layers
- Test integrations with Salesforce and HubSpot CRM
- Analyze nightly regression test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and report defects
- Support release processes through regression testing and validation of critical functionality
- Maintain and improve the test automation framework and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
- Leverage AI tools like Claude to streamline routine QA tasks
You'll be expected to troubleshoot automation issues independently, keep test suites stable, and continuously enhance testing processes. The role emphasizes self-organization, analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and curiosity about how products work.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of test automation experience for web applications (UI and API)
- Solid Java skills with hands-on experience using Selenide or Selenium
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Working knowledge of SQL (MySQL)
- Experience testing microservice-based applications
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to troubleshoot automation issues independently and maintain test suite stability
- Intermediate English level
GOOD TO HAVE:
- Experience with Cucumber/BDD
- Hands-on use of AI assistants in QA work (Claude)
- Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot CRM APIs and integrations
- Experience with Google BigQuery
- Experience with UI performance testing and page load metrics
