Salary: EUR 37,000 - 45,000 / annual
Roadsurfer is Europe's largest campervan rental company, offering vehicle rentals, subscriptions, a spots discovery platform, and direct sales. As Location Manager (Standortleitung) for the Augsburg station, you will lead a team responsible for all operational aspects of this location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and develop the Augsburg location in partnership with central departments, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Lead and manage your team through structured onboarding, task planning, and regular feedback
- Recruit and hire team members to build out your location
- Oversee fleet management at the station, maintaining vehicle condition and coordinating with local service partners
- Optimize processes and implement company standards, including vehicle handover/return coordination
- Collaborate internationally with roadsurfer teams across Europe to continuously improve operations
- Provide expert customer consultation on roadsurfer products (myroadsurfer, subscriptions, spots, rentals)
You will work in a flat-hierarchy, team-oriented culture with regular team events, an exchange program allowing up to 4 weeks/year working at other European locations, annual camper rental allowance, job bike option, and corporate discounts.
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training or university degree in a relevant field, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2–3 years professional experience, ideally in car rental, tourism, or related fields (career changers welcome)
- Some experience in team leadership preferred; empathy and supportive leadership style essential
- Strong service and customer orientation with excellent communication skills
- Hands-on, pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent German and English
- Valid Class B driver's license
