As a Corporate Legal Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting Mujin's rapid growth across multiple legal domains:
**Contract Law & Negotiations**
Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including NDAs and other agreements. Update and evaluate company contract templates in response to regulatory changes and business evolution.
**Corporate Governance & Company Law**
Manage commercial registration documentation and maintain related records. Draft, revise, and manage internal regulations and policies.
**Compliance & Regulatory Approvals**
Design and deliver internal compliance training programs. Handle licensing, permits, and regulatory filings (e.g., construction industry permits). Research applicable laws (export controls, data protection) and advise business units. Support law and compliance-related projects.
**Legal Operations**
Serve as primary contact for external counsel, judicial scriveners, and legal tech vendors. Implement, operate, and improve legal tools (e-contracts, contract management systems). Systematically manage legal knowledge and documentation. Build standardized, efficient legal processes.
The role offers flexibility within a fast-growing organization where you can proactively propose and drive process standardization and efficiency improvements. You will balance legal risk management with business acceleration, working across diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
**Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years of corporate legal practice experience in a business company or law firm
- Hands-on experience drafting and reviewing contracts
- Foundational knowledge of Japanese applicable laws
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with construction industry licensing and regulatory procedures
- Background in export controls or data protection law (research or practice)
- Experience implementing or operating e-contract and legal tech tools
- Experience designing and running internal compliance training programs
- Business-level English proficiency (for international offices and English-language contracts)
