You will join the legal team as Associate Commercial Counsel, reporting to the Head of EMEA Legal in London. This role is based in Dublin on a hybrid model (3 days in office per week) and sits at the center of Harvey's fast-moving, startup environment serving renowned law firms and professional service organizations.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial AI SaaS contracts with customers
- Help establish and build the legal function in EMEA, creating a strong substantive, organizational, and relationship foundation for the region's legal presence
- Work on other legal issues as they arise
- Contribute to broader legal work supporting the company as opportunities emerge
The role offers significant opportunity to broaden expertise and take ownership in a small, growing team. You will interface closely with the Go-To-Market team to ensure fast and efficient execution of customer agreements.

REQUIREMENTS:
- English qualified lawyer with 2+ years post-qualification experience
- Background either with the commercial or technology division of a leading private practice law firm, OR in-house with a technology company supporting SaaS or technology Go-To-Market or Business Development teams
- Transactional background, including with technology and/or IP licensing commercial agreements
- AI experience welcomed but not required
- Ability to think creatively, function independently, and work proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Team-focused and collaborative work style with willingness to build expertise and solve new challenges in an evolving practice
- Hyper-responsive and service-oriented attitude with a passion for solving hard problems with a small, tight-knit team
