Foodics, a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment technology provider founded in 2014, is seeking an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Lead to oversee all AML and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) activities for FoodicsPay. Based in Riyadh with offices across 5 countries and serving customers in over 35 countries, Foodics has processed over 6 billion orders and recently raised $170 million in the largest SaaS funding round in MENA. In this role, you will serve as the subject-matter expert and primary point of escalation for all AML-related matters, reporting to senior management and the Board. Your responsibilities span four key areas: **Governance & Oversight:** Develop and maintain AML/CTF policies, procedures, and standards aligned with SAMA regulations and FATF guidelines. Establish the annual AML plan, execute monitoring processes and thematic reviews, lead comprehensive ML/TF Risk Assessments covering customer, product, channel, and geography risks, and define KRIs and dashboards for leadership. **Monitoring & Investigations:** Oversee transaction monitoring alerts and escalated cases, manage complex AML investigations involving merchants or payment flows, ensure timely filing of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the Saudi FIU (GFIU), and sign off on Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) files, high-risk merchant onboarding, and risk rating adjustments. **Onboarding & KYC Oversight:** Ensure onboarding processes (KYC, KYB, Beneficial Ownership, MCC validation, sanctions checks) meet regulatory expectations and approve high-risk clients including cash-intensive merchants, unusual MCCs, and high-volume cross-border activities. **Regulatory Engagement & Training:** Act as the primary contact with SAMA and FIU regarding AML matters, coordinate regulatory inspections and remediation plans, and deliver annual AML training and specialized training for frontline and risk teams. **Team Leadership:** Supervise AML analysts/officers, provide coaching, and manage workload distribution.
