Salary: USD 140,000 - 175,000 / annual
LangChain is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join its data team. The company builds a developer platform and framework for building LLM applications and agents, with 100M+ monthly open-source downloads and 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, including 5 of the Fortune 10 and 35% of the Fortune 500.
In this role, you will help establish the foundation for business teams to diagnose issues, uncover opportunities, and drive success using data. You'll work with and expand LangChain's data stack, including Looker, dbt, BigQuery, and Airbyte. Your responsibilities include:
- Writing LookML and dbt models that describe the business and power a self-serve analytics experience
- Connecting data from multiple sources (Salesforce, Stripe, Metronome, Clickhouse, etc.) into BigQuery
- Building dashboards that track progress against company goals and KPIs
- Analyzing product usage and operational data to surface insights around customer health, adoption, and revenue
- Developing a deep understanding of business metrics to drive alignment, prioritization, and decision-making
You'll be working at a well-funded Series B company ($125M raised from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures) where all team members have meaningful impact on product development and company direction.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering
- Technical proficiency in BigQuery (or similar), dbt, Looker/LookML, Airbyte (or similar), and Segment
- Detail-oriented with strong data analysis skills and ability to synthesize findings effectively
- Curiosity and strong business sense to anticipate needs and generate meaningful insights
- Start-up DNA with ability to thrive in fast-paced, unstructured environments
- Self-directed; able to make impact without waiting for process or oversight
