Swile is a fintech company founded in 2018 that has revolutionized the employee benefits market through a digital super-app. With over 1,000 employees and international presence (including Brazil), Swile serves millions of users and thousands of companies. The Legal & Compliance team operates cross-functionally across the organization, providing strategic, pragmatic, and business-oriented support to secure growth while enabling speed.
As AML Compliance Senior Officer, you will join Swile Payment's Compliance team as a key operational reference for anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) prevention. Your role centers on securing Swile's growth by managing AML/CTF alert processing and optimizing/automating compliance processes across a multi-product environment (regulated products: Mobility, Wallet, and upcoming Expense; unregulated: Restaurant Vouchers).
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and analyzing AML/CTF alert flows: Ensure continuous monitoring of operations (transaction monitoring, screening, customer scoring for individuals and entities) and investigate complex alerts daily.
- Leading investigations and TRACFIN declarations: Analyze suspicious or atypical behaviors, conduct in-depth data collection, and draft suspicious activity reports to TRACFIN (French financial intelligence unit).
- Scaling and automating AML/CTF processes: Actively participate in building, refining, and optimizing surveillance scenarios and tools (including SALV platform and AI implementation) to streamline high-volume processing and prepare for 2027 regulatory deadlines.
- Contributing to regulatory reporting and compliance: Support drafting and submission of regulatory reports (QLB, Banking Inclusion Observatory, etc.) in coordination with ACPR and overall risk vision.
- International and internal collaboration: Serve as key contact for Risk & Control, Product, and Tech teams; regularly coordinate with Brazil-based compliance teams to harmonize standards.
- Supporting new partner/tool integration: Monitor operational deployment of new service providers (KYB, screening) to support new product launches (Expense, gift cards, etc.).
- Training and onboarding: Conduct AML/CTF awareness training for exposed teams in France and Brazil; promote AI best practices.
Your impact: You become the operational pillar for AML/CTF risk analysis on money flows, providing clear answers on sensitive and high-risk cases. You accelerate automation by leveraging AI and RegTech tools to transform manual, high-volume tasks into intelligent, auditable processes. You facilitate international growth by supporting deployment of complex products like Expense across French and international markets, particularly in coordination with the Brazil subsidiary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7–10 years of experience in compliance/financial security (AML, AML/CTF), ideally gained at a payment institution, e-money issuer, or fintech (e.g., Qonto, Shine, SlimPay).
- Solid expertise in AML/CTF alert processing, transaction monitoring, screening, and TRACFIN suspicious activity report drafting.
- Strong technical aptitude and AI enthusiasm: Comfortable with screening/monitoring tools (SALV experience valued); genuine desire to integrate AI tools for process automation.
- Rigor and pragmatism: Ability to deep-dive into complex business topics 80% of the time while remaining business-oriented and solution-focused.
- Languages: Fluent French and English required (regular Slack exchanges and meetings with Brazil team).
- Location: Role based in Swile's Paris office.
