Rollstack automates the creation of slide decks and documents for leading organizations including SoFi, Zillow, and Whirlpool. As an AI Software Engineer, you will build core features that automate how companies share data through slides and documents, working across the full stack on integrations, AI insights, and performance optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building AI-powered features that combine industry best practices with innovative thinking to develop the product's first AI capabilities
- Leveraging existing frameworks like LangChain, RAG, and LlamaIndex to create scalable, production-ready solutions for data analysis and content generation
- Enhancing system performance by improving reliability and optimizing software to meet customer needs and accelerate time-to-market
- Collaborating closely with designers and software engineers to boost user adoption and engagement
- Pioneering best practices using cutting-edge AI tools and techniques
Tech stack includes TypeScript and React frontend with Tailwind CSS and Shadcn/UI, Node.js backend with Prisma ORM and Temporal workflows, Kubernetes on AWS with Argo CD deployment, SigNoz for logging, Sentry for tracing, PostHog for analytics, and OpenAI/Gemini APIs with LangChain and Langfuse for the generative AI layer.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning and natural language processing, focusing on generative models
- Proficiency in current large language model frameworks including LangChain, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and LlamaIndex
- Advanced programming skills in Python
- Proven experience researching, building, and fine-tuning large language models in production environments
- Bonus: Experience building LLM agents for data analysis and content generation
