Unframe is an AI-first startup helping enterprises deploy LLM-powered applications rapidly. The company has secured over $100M in TCV within 12 months and recently closed a $50M Series B led by Highland Europe, backed by Bessemer, Craft, and TLV.
As an AI-First QA Automation Engineer, you will build and scale Playwright automation while leveraging AI to transform how testing is developed and executed. You'll create AI-powered workflows, prompts, and agentic solutions that automate test generation, execution, failure analysis, and bug reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and maintain reliable end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright with a focus on stability and low-flakiness
- Develop agentic workflows and LLM-driven pipelines for automated test generation, execution, self-healing, failure analysis, and bug creation
- Lead adoption of AI development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code across QA and engineering workflows
- Embed Playwright automation and AI-driven analysis into GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines, including automated test reporting and root cause analysis
- Develop strategies to validate AI/LLM-powered product features, including prompt behavior, output quality, and agent state management
- Work closely with Engineering to embed AI-driven automation across the entire R&D lifecycle
You'll join a fast-paced, product-driven environment with real ownership from day one, learning alongside founders and VPs in a space that evolves weekly.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as an Automation Engineer
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test suites using Playwright
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript or Python
- Daily hands-on experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar
- Experience building AI-powered workflows using LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks
- Strong understanding of different LLMs and ability to choose the right model for different tasks
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions is a plus)
- Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments (startup experience is a plus)
