In this role, you will focus on building and optimizing Omni's agentic AI analyst. Your responsibilities will include tuning agent behavior, measuring agent performance, and adding new capabilities to the system. You'll work alongside a team with deep expertise in AI and data systems, with significant autonomy to prioritize and solve problems independently or collaboratively.
Omni's engineering culture emphasizes shipping quickly and iteratively while maintaining high performance and quality standards. All software engineers work across the full technology stack to solve customer problems. The team develops with AI and coding agents, and engineers are expected to exercise judgment about when to trust agents, when to override them, and when to solve problems manually.
The tech stack includes TypeScript, React with Remix, Kotlin/Java, and AWS.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–10+ years of experience building production software
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Strategic thinking and ability to balance business/product goals with velocity and engineering excellence
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM systems in production, with expertise in some or all of: agent harnesses, context management, retrieval, evaluation, or post-training
- Experience doing data analysis
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience building data products and AI-ready interfaces
- Familiarity with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
