FullStory is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to join the Finance team as a hybrid role based in Atlanta (one day per week in-office). This position reports to the Director of Engineering (Enterprise Systems and Data team) and focuses on leveraging AI to enhance data analysis, automate workflows, and support better business decision-making. In this role, you will be embedded within the Finance team, acting as the technical bridge between Finance and other engineering groups. You'll identify opportunities for AI-powered solutions to complex business problems and guide finance professionals in effectively using AI tools and technologies. Key responsibilities include: - Designing, building, and maintaining technical infrastructure to enable AI, including custom tools, server-side logic, system integrations, and data pipelines - Developing and managing data acquisition processes: sourcing, cleaning, and preparing data for AI models and analytics - Conducting data analysis to uncover insights, validate data integrity, and support strategic finance initiatives - Working closely with business stakeholders to translate finance needs into robust technical solutions - Identifying and implementing AI solutions that automate or optimize key Finance workflows Within 6 months, you will have delivered one or two impactful AI-powered solutions actively used by the Finance team and established yourself as a trusted technical partner. Within 12 months, you'll be proactively identifying complex business problems to solve with AI, scaling solutions across teams, and contributing to broader engineering discussions about AI best practices. REQUIREMENTS: - Experience working closely with business stakeholders, preferably in finance or business operations contexts - Proven experience designing and building solutions by integrating various systems (e.g., REST APIs, databases) with strong comfort managing data flows - Strong programming skills for data acquisition, cleaning, and preparation - Experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) and solid understanding of data modeling - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field - Must reside within commutable distance to Atlanta office
