Stark Bank is a digital banking platform for companies founded in 2018, offering integrated financial services including payment processing, invoice management, and accounts receivable solutions via a robust API. The company aims to become Brazil's leading fintech bank by eliminating bureaucracy and driving operational efficiency for businesses. The Regulatory Specialist Attorney will serve as the primary legal and regulatory liaison between Stark Bank and Brazil's Central Bank (Banco Central). Key responsibilities include: • Monitor and interpret Central Bank regulations, formally communicating impacts to internal departments • Issue regulatory feasibility opinions on products, customers, and operations in collaboration with Product and Commercial teams • Serve as the direct point of contact with the Central Bank for official communications, notifications, and inspections • Maintain and update the regulatory compliance map • Support corporate processes with the Central Bank, such as director elections • Partner with internal teams (Product, Commercial, AML/PLD, and Executive Leadership) to deliver timely responses within regulatory deadlines This is a hands-on role in a lean, fast-paced fintech environment where regulatory deadlines are tight and autonomy is essential. The successful candidate will communicate clearly with both technical teams and executive leadership. REQUIREMENTS: • Law degree with active OAB (Brazilian bar association) registration • Prior experience in regulatory compliance at a payment institution, fintech, or bank • Clear, direct, and objective communication skills, including with executive leadership • Autonomous, hands-on approach suited to lean teams and tight regulatory timelines PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Prior experience with Central Bank inspections or audits • Background in contracts or corporate processes • Familiarity with Pix, SPB (Brazilian payments system), and Open Finance • Intermediate to advanced English
