Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The company develops unmanned aerial systems (UAS) platforms including Anvil, Altius, and Ghost, powered by Lattice OS—an AI-powered operating system that integrates thousands of data streams into real-time 3D command and control centers. As a Systems Engineer for C2 Integration, you will lead end-to-end solution development for command and control systems by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture. You'll design, develop, and maintain system components that meet functional and performance requirements in complex distributed environments. Your responsibilities include conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience of software applications, particularly in distributed systems contexts. You will work closely with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components, and collaborate on defining and documenting software engineering processes and practices that adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires 5+ years of post-graduate industry experience in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or systems engineering. You must have hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience, with demonstrated ability to develop automated test scripts and frameworks using languages like Python or MATLAB. A passion for systems design development, integration, and test is essential. You must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance or higher, and be willing to travel up to 25% for test planning and execution. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with complex robotic systems, familiarity with IP-based networks, experience with mission systems including communications, and knowledge of aviation airworthiness considerations.
