You will join as a Staff Software Engineer leading the newly formed Provider Onboarding Engineering team within the Provider organization. This is a foundational leadership role where you will architect and build the systems that enable provider onboarding capabilities for both internal and external-facing users and workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as chief architect for the Provider Onboarding domain, establishing technical direction and design patterns
- Driving product-based implementations across pricing, payments, client panel, and forms
- Building robust custom tools and integrating industry solutions to improve onboarding workflows
- Mentoring senior engineers and establishing best practices for the team
- Leading cross-functional collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Owning all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, specification, execution, measurement, and post-launch maintenance
- Building scalable, reliable systems that support a critical healthcare ecosystem
This role offers the opportunity to establish a new engineering domain from the ground up, working on complex systems where reliability and accuracy are paramount. You will have significant influence over technical architecture and team culture as the team scales.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 1+ years working on healthcare systems or equivalent regulated/high-reliability domains
- 1+ years of experience helping form a new team from scratch
- Experience working on cross-functional teams bridging technical and non-technical groups
- Fullstack experience building modern database-backed web applications (SQL/NoSQL)
- Microservice development experience
- Demonstrated experience mentoring others, reviewing architectures, and establishing design patterns
- Track record driving all phases of development lifecycle with focus on sustainable results
- Experience on highly complex projects with emphasis on achieving reliable outcomes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Startup experience
- SaaS development using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with products requiring high reliability/accuracy (finance, mission-critical systems)
- On-call experience with ability to independently deep-dive and resolve complex issues
- Experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, Kafka
