Salary: USD 176,100 - 308,200 / annual
ServiceNow's Advanced Technology Group (ATG) is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to build intelligent, AI-powered solutions that transform enterprise service workflows. You'll work on cloud-based AI/ML platforms designed to make advanced capabilities accessible to any user, regardless of technical expertise, across ServiceNow's 5,000+ enterprise customers globally.
In this role, you'll:
- Build best-in-class cloud-based AI/ML solutions powering intelligent enterprise services
- Collaborate daily with developers, product managers, and quality engineers to deliver high-quality software
- Partner with product owners to understand requirements and own code from design through implementation, testing, and delivery
- Focus on transforming user experience and workflow efficiency through AI-driven insights and automation
ATG operates with a dual mission: building and evolving ServiceNow's AI platform while researching and de-risking emerging AI technologies that unlock new work experiences. You'll be part of a team of researchers, applied scientists, engineers, and product managers working on early-adopter customer solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (including AI-powered tools, automation, or analyzing AI-driven insights)
- Expertise in Java or Python, OOP, design patterns, and time/space-efficient algorithms
- Experience building new products that leverage challenging high-performance algorithms
- Expertise in coding efficient, object-oriented, modularized, and quality software
- Knowledge of core AI/ML techniques and algorithms
- Knowledge of unit testing, profiling, and code tuning
