Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The company develops AI-powered systems, autonomy, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology for military applications. In this Staff-level role, you will lead full-cycle PCB design and electrical systems development for weapons systems, including fuzing circuitry for missile systems. Your responsibilities include: • Full cycle PCB design: requirements collection, schematic design, component selection, layout supervision/completion, bring-up, test, debug, and system integration • Development of fuzing circuitry for missile systems • Close collaboration with vehicle development teams to design, document, and produce tailored fuzing systems and effectors • System interconnect diagram development and wire harness definition for vehicle electronic equipment • Support for air vehicle subsystem development within system constraints • Vendor surveys and component sourcing evaluation • Peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews • Lab, ground, and flight test build-up and validation • Low-level firmware development for bring-up and test • Root cause analysis supporting field operations This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting of complex systems. You will work at the intersection of hardware design, systems integration, and weapons system development. REQUIREMENTS: • BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 12+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs • Competence with test equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current-probes, and test automation • Familiarity with standard interfaces: Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB • Familiarity with MCU, CPU, FPGA devices and technologies • Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits • Proficiency with electronic CAD tools (Altium preferred; Eagle and others acceptable) • Experience in signal integrity and power integrity design • Test experience including data acquisition, data analysis, and project coordination • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance • Ability to travel as required for testing (up to 25%) • Passion for defending the United States and her allies PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Active U.S. security clearance (DoD Secret, Top-Secret, DOE L, or Q) • 5-10 years as an individual contributor focused on electrical design, analysis, and testing of fuzing and/or ordnance systems • Understanding of DO-254, DO-178C, DO-160, and avionics design standards for UAS • Familiarity with electrical component suppliers • Experience in UAS, missiles, or maritime programs • Experience with DoD Weapons Safety Boards • Experience designing and scaling production of components at volume • Experience developing or testing complex electrical systems • Experience with MIL-STD-1316, MIL-STD-882E, MIL-STD-2105 • Experience with JOTP-052 and JOTP-054 • Experience with explosive operations and/or handling munitions
