TrueAccord, a subsidiary of TrueML, combines machine learning with human-centered approaches to transform debt resolution and help consumers achieve financial health. The company serves millions of Americans annually, providing personalized digital experiences for lenders and consumers navigating debt resolution.
In this role, you will own performance diagnosis across the collections platform, monitoring leading indicators and separating external factors from internal drivers to identify key shifts before they impact liquidation outcomes. You'll trace findings beyond standard data tables into application logic, rules, configurations, and processing flows to pinpoint technical defects or strategy gaps.
You will drive strategy and execution by converting root-cause insights into clear recommendations with expected impacts and success metrics, partnering with the Strategy Manager to move recommendations into production. You'll lead revenue planning and forecasting through what-if analyses, scenario modeling, and stress-testing to support team planning and quantify the impact of client and placement shifts.
The role includes designing and evaluating experiments: formulating hypotheses, defining decision thresholds, and running structured experiments to scale, iterate, or discontinue strategies. You'll shape client and leadership narratives by partnering directly with Client Managers to deliver defensible performance stories, challenge unsupported strategies, and participate in high-stakes client discussions.
This is a remote-first position supporting a global, cross-functional business. Occasional flexibility outside standard business hours and infrequent local or international travel may be required for company meetings, training, offsites, and collaborative projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years in analytics with strong focus on funnel/lifecycle diagnosis, cohort/curve analysis, or channel optimization (collections, lending, CRM, subscription, or eCommerce backgrounds are ideal)
- Highly analytical with sharp instinct for ruling out plausible-but-wrong explanations and drive to trace root causes into software systems and rule configurations
- Advanced SQL skills to navigate complex schemas (e.g., Snowflake) and build custom datasets independently
- Proficient in reading and tracing logic in Python or configuration files to understand platform behavior (production coding not required)
- Practical daily experience using AI tools in analytical workflows, plus proficiency in self-serve BI tools like Looker or Tableau
- Proven ability to build defensible what-if models/forecasts with working knowledge of statistical significance and experimental design
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to distill complex analyses into clear takeaways that inspire action across Strategy, Engineering, and Product teams
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
- Bonus: experience with ML decisioning engines, champion/challenger test design, or reading system logs
