AnySignal is a startup building next-generation RF (radio frequency) products and services for space and defense missions. The company provides a flexible, high-performance platform designed for demanding aerospace and defense applications, with a team spanning cloud computing, AI, communications, sensing, embedded systems, and more.
As a Python Software Engineer, you will own the design and development of AnySignal's data aggregation, test automation, and testing framework. This framework enables rapid, repeatable testing of hardware, software, and DSP (digital signal processing) systems across the company's space and ground segment components. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team to empower fast iteration and system triage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining a Python software framework that allows engineers to write automated tests
- Designing and maintaining systems for data aggregation and analysis
- Building user interfaces that interface with hardware and software systems
Required qualifications:
- Strong expertise developing Python libraries
- Solid understanding of networking concepts
- Ability to design extensible, maintainable software systems that support new engineering projects across the company
Desired qualifications include experience with scalable SQL/NoSQL databases, test automation (equipment drivers, debug tools, socket interfaces), Docker, RF and DSP concepts, and GNU Radio.
