As a Forward Deployed Engineer on Ramp's Core FDE team, you will solve complex problems for the world's largest and most sophisticated companies. This is a customer-facing engineering role where you'll work directly with enterprise clients to understand their pain points, shape product decisions, and build AI agents that autonomously expand Ramp's capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering software end-to-end that meets the needs of Ramp's largest customers, from understanding user pain points through scoping product specs to building agents that implement solutions autonomously
- Collaborating closely with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Account Management teams to close deals, activate customers, and expand value over time
- Driving the core product engineering roadmap by specializing within a core product area to develop deep domain expertise and make prioritization decisions on when to build custom solutions versus accelerating broader initiatives
- Operating in a high-pace, agent-first environment where you own problems end-to-end and make consequential decisions

Requirements:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience preferred
- Extensive experience building with and for AI agents
- Track record of shipping high-quality products at scale
- Comfort and excitement being customer-facing
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft
