HealthEdge is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Care Solutions GPS Business Intelligence team in Hyderabad. This role focuses on end-to-end development and delivery of BI reports and dashboards that power analytics for the Care Solutions platform, transforming complex clinical and operational data into actionable insights for healthcare stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include designing and delivering high-performing Tableau and QuickSight dashboards, owning QuickSight datasets and Tableau data sources from development through production. You will partner closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and data engineering teams to translate complex requirements into enterprise BI solutions. The role encompasses the full delivery lifecycle: analysis, design, development, deployment, and client support.
You will build and maintain automated unit testing frameworks for reports and datasets, enforce data validation standards, and run CI/CD pipelines for deployments. Governance and documentation are critical—you'll own metadata dictionaries, KPI definitions, and reporting standards as the authoritative source of truth. You'll also participate in on-call incident triage, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of hands-on BI experience delivering enterprise solutions integrated with data warehouses. Expert proficiency with AWS QuickSight and Tableau is essential, along with strong SQL expertise (PostgreSQL or similar), familiarity with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, IAM), and experience with Git/Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence. You should be comfortable using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) as development partners.
Preferred qualifications include US healthcare domain experience, HIPAA compliance familiarity, report platform migration experience, and AWS certifications. You'll work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating across US and India-based teams. The role values strong ownership, attention to detail, proactive communication, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve patient care.
