Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Software Development Engineer III specializing in MuleSoft integration development. You will join the Integrations team to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop MuleSoft integrations, APIs, and connectors using Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Platform
- Implement integration solutions with focus on scalability, reliability, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot integration issues, analyze error logs, and implement solutions
- Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with the testing team to develop and execute integration test cases
- Assist in deployment of MuleSoft applications and configurations to various environments
- Document technical specifications, system processes, and integration flows
- Stay updated with MuleSoft product releases, new features, and industry best practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed
You will work in a distributed team environment, contributing to solutions that serve over 550,000 customers worldwide. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to perform under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field (or 7+ years of relevant integration domain experience in lieu of degree)
- 5-7 years of overall software development experience, with 2-5 years specifically with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Proven experience as a MuleSoft Developer with deep understanding of Mule ESB, API Manager, Mule runtime, Anypoint Studio, and CloudHub 2.0
- Thorough understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services
- Experience building integrations with ERP systems, CRM systems, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party applications
- Knowledge of security protocols, encryption, OAuth, SSL, and API governance policies
- Proficiency with SQL and database variations
- Familiarity with Salesforce (CRM, CPQ), Developer Console, and SOQL
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for distributed team environments
- Proficient multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills
- MuleSoft Certified Developer certification is a plus
