You will join as a Senior Software Developer in Montreal, working on a highly technical PHP-based platform. Your responsibilities include:
• Shape and evolve the integration ecosystem as the platform scales with new use cases and extensibility areas
• Architect and build systems capable of processing high-volume transactions
• Design, implement, and support scalable, fault-tolerant systems to minimize customer impact during failures
• Participate in the migration toward a microservice-oriented architecture
• Own features end-to-end across the full stack, making informed trade-offs between depth and breadth
• Deliver production-grade code and support it post-launch
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (L2–L3 proficiency): daily use of coding agents for bounded tasks with review, and routine delegation of feature-sized work, while you own design intent, test strategy, and merge quality
You will work in a collaborative environment where you drive value through innovative solutions and maintain a strong product mindset.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Fluent in both written and spoken French and English
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience
• Strong working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Experience developing solutions in multiple programming languages
• Knowledge of web service technologies, REST APIs, and GraphQL
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end business solutions
• Solid production-grade fundamentals across infrastructure, backend, data, frontend, and delivery
• Ability to make technical trade-offs, unblock others, and raise team standards
• Comfort with AI-assisted development workflows and coding agents
