Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building energy-efficient solutions to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates each layer of the stack—from electrons to tokens—to address the critical bottleneck of power in AI compute.
In this Senior IC role, you will own the last mile of Crusoe's enterprise data platform: building and scaling an AI-powered self-service analytics suite for the People team. You'll drive adoption through a hybrid strategy combining pre-packaged HR dashboards and insights built in Visier with AI-assisted analytics powered by Claude, all connected to a governed, modeled data foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
**Visier Platform Ownership**: Serve as the technical and functional owner of Visier, managing configuration, metric definitions, security models, release management, and the vendor relationship. Build and extend Visier content (metrics, boards, alerts) and expand into new data subjects as systems are onboarded. Manage the integration between the data platform and Visier in partnership with Data Engineering. Own data quality by defining checks, triaging failures, and driving fixes back to source systems.
**AI & Self-Service Analytics**: Ensure consistency between AI-assisted answers and Visier dashboards, evaluating AI outputs critically and understanding missing context. Document data models, business logic, and known caveats as core deliverables. Design access and aggregation rules for sensitive people data, including compensation and performance information.
**People Team Partnership & Enablement**: Act as an embedded partner to Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Operations, and Business Partners. Conduct discovery, synthesize findings, and communicate insights to executive leadership. Move the function from ad hoc pulls to durable reporting cadences focused on organizational health and talent delivery. Build and run enablement programs (training, office hours, documentation) to raise data literacy across HR. Help build and deliver the self-service analytics roadmap, translating business questions into deliverables and pushing back when the real answer is a process or systems fix rather than a dashboard.
Requirements:
- 4+ years in people analytics, HR technology, or closely related role
- Hands-on Visier experience: must have completed at least one implementation or meaningful capability expansion (deploying Visier or standing up new data subjects in an existing tenant)
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working directly in a cloud data warehouse
- Deep fluency in HR domain: recruiting, compensation, performance, org structure, and how underlying systems record this data
- Demonstrated experience enabling others through training, documentation, or converting reporting backlogs into self-service
- Pragmatic approach to data governance, balancing standardized dashboards for large audiences with exploration capabilities for clients
- Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent workstreams, and handle sensitive data with discretion
Bonus qualifications: Analytics engineering capability (dbt, version control, CI/CD, dimensional modeling); experience exposing warehouse data to LLMs or agentic interfaces (semantic layers, MCP); familiarity with Crusoe's stack (Rippling, Workday, Ashby, Lattice, TeamOhana, BigQuery); experience with other BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Sigma) alongside Visier; background in high-growth or infrastructure environments.
