Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in TeamCenter PLM to join the ArsenalOS team. ArsenalOS is Anduril's unified production systems platform serving as the digital backbone for manufacturing operations, integrating PLM, MES, WMS, and supply chain systems.
This is a hands-on, greenfield engineering role focused on architecting and implementing mission-critical TeamCenter customizations and integrations. You will not be maintaining legacy systems; instead, you'll help build next-generation engineering infrastructure from the ground up, integrating CAD, ERP, MES, manufacturing, and engineering systems into scalable modern platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and delivering complex TeamCenter customizations and integrations (ITK, SOA, BMIDE, Active Workspace)
- Building high-performance integrations between TeamCenter and other ArsenalOS systems (ERP, MES, change management, requirements management, CAD)
- Designing and implementing scalable data models, business logic, and workflow solutions while minimizing upgrade friction
- Contributing to platform observability and reliability improvements
- Setting engineering excellence standards through opinionated technical decisions and architectural guidance
- Leveraging frontier AI tooling (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for rapid development
- Collaborating cross-functionally with systems architecture, software product, design, change management, and manufacturing teams
- Defining architecture standards for scalable growth and rapid prototyping to production cycles
The ideal candidate is deeply technical, thrives in fast-moving environments, combines strong software engineering foundations with TeamCenter expertise, and avoids legacy PLM mindsets. You should be equally comfortable with TeamCenter internals, APIs and distributed systems, CI/CD and cloud-native architecture, integration patterns, and data modeling.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building products in fast-paced environments
- 3+ years of hands-on TeamCenter development experience including: ITK (Integration Toolkit) development in C/C++, BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE) data modeling and customization, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) services and handlers, Active Workspace (AWC) customization and development, and TeamCenter architecture, database schema, and administration
- Strong programming skills in Java, C++, and C#
- Experience with modern software development practices: version control (Git), CI/CD, automated testing, code review
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) and ability to leverage them for rapid, high-quality development
- Experience working with large enterprise applications and platforms with high availability requirements
- Database experience (SQL, Oracle or SQL Server, data modeling, query optimization)
- Strong opinions about code quality, architecture, and engineering best practices
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field
- U.S. Person status required (position requires access to export controlled data)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with TeamCenter upgrades/migrations (14.x → 2506/25.x) and cloud deployment architectures
- Experience with CAD integrations (NX, SolidWorks) and other PLM platforms (Windchill, Aras, Enovia)
- Experience in hyper-growth startup-like environments or aerospace/defense manufacturing
- Understanding of PLM adjacent systems: ERP (Oracle, SAP), MES, WMS, CAD, BOM management
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development lifecycle, and engineering change management
- Experience with web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, REST APIs)
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret/Top Secret Security clearance
