CreativeX is building the global standard for creative quality, helping major brands like Facebook, Unilever, and Heineken make data-driven creative decisions at scale using machine learning-powered technology.
You'll join the Engineering team as a Senior Backend Software Engineer, working on scalable, well-tested product solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
• Integrating with third-party APIs (Google, Meta, TikTok) to ingest data, with expertise in authentication, error resilience, and monitoring
• Creating and maintaining robust API endpoints for external developers, ensuring they deliver value aligned with business cases
• Building and maintaining complex data pipelines that capture new data types while meeting SLAs for analytics
You'll work closely with the product team to understand business context and drive customer experience improvements. The role values engineers who care about code quality, drive team improvements, and aren't afraid to speak up about process and product decisions. You'll be expected to contribute ideas across design, UX, and feature development, not just coding.
This is a hybrid role based in Portland, Oregon, requiring in-office presence 1-2 times per week. The company emphasizes learning, data-driven thinking, agility, and autonomous but closely-knit teamwork. They're looking for people who experiment with new technologies and want to make both the tech stack and the company better.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 3 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Computer Science degree preferred but not required
• Experience with third-party API integrations and data pipeline development highly valued
• Passion for learning and stretching yourself technically
