You will be part of a small but growing team building out the Platform/Reliability practice, working with a globally distributed organization. REQUIREMENTS: - Strong experience in Non-Abstract Systems design and implementation - Strong proficiency in Python and Golang - In-depth experience with Kubernetes (CKA certification or equivalent or greater) - Experience with observability principles and technologies, including SLI/SLO definition and tracking - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working in globally distributed teams - Passion for reliability and operational excellence; low tolerance for toil - Ability to accurately estimate scope of work and coordinate with stakeholders to address risks - Experience with software development best practices: code review, testing, CI/CD, version control, automation, and debugging - Proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues, with focus on ownership and accountability BONUS EXPERIENCE: - SaaS/PaaS product experience across multiple cloud providers - Familiarity with CircleCI, Chronosphere (Prometheus), Splunk, Bazel, Istio, Playwright, Karpenter, or GitHub Actions - Deep knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure internals and quirks - On-call rotation participation - Apache Airflow experience
