Join MTS (Managed Trading Services), Sportradar's real-time risk betting management platform that processes millions of bets globally. You'll design, build, test, and ship backend services and APIs as part of a high-throughput, low-latency system serving betting operators worldwide.
The role emphasizes shipping in small increments, owning your code in production (monitoring, alerting, on-call), and writing clean, well-tested, documented code. You'll work with product managers and senior engineers to translate requirements into deliverable work, learn the interconnected MTS ecosystem, and grow toward owning larger features end-to-end. The team actively encourages AI-assisted, spec-driven development workflows to move faster with quality.
Tech stack: Java (Spring Boot / Quarkus), Kafka / MSK, gRPC & Protobuf, AWS (EKS, ECS, DynamoDB, Aurora), ArgoCD / GitOps, Terraform, and observability via Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry. This is a genuinely rich domain—you'll level up quickly by shipping real features to production and learning how services behave under real load.
Sportradar is the world's leading sports technology company, trusted by over 1,700 sports federations, media outlets, betting operators, and consumer platforms across 120 countries. The company operates engineering offices in Europe, Asia, and the US, with a collaborative, inclusive culture including Women in Tech and Pride groups.
The company operates on a fully on-site model with team members working in the office five days a week, though certain exemptions may apply depending on location.
