As a Senior Software Engineer on the Frontend team, you will design, develop, and maintain responsive, robust, and modular AngularJS-based web applications. You'll translate complex product requirements into engaging and intuitive user experiences, implementing clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end code with a focus on high performance. You will build reusable directives, services, and modules with an eye toward componentization and efficiency.
You'll collaborate closely with Product and Backend Engineering teams to align UI functionality with underlying APIs and services, and contribute to UI/UX discussions to shape the design and behavior of frontend components. You will review, refactor, and optimize existing AngularJS code to improve performance and maintainability, develop comprehensive tests (unit, integration, E2E), and conduct thorough code reviews and browser compatibility testing. You'll also collaborate with engineers across the organization to resolve issues and contribute innovative ideas for technical improvements and business opportunities.
The role offers real impact on systems used by production customers, with direct visibility on product and company trajectory. You'll work on problems at the intersection of distributed systems, real-time data, and industrial constraints where reliability, scale, and performance are non-negotiable. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
- 5+ years of professional experience building complex web applications with AngularJS in production environments
- Strong command of TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end architectures
- Deep understanding of AngularJS internals, including scope, the digest cycle, services, and directives
- Demonstrated ability to showcase previous UI work (portfolio, screens, live apps, dashboards, or component libraries)
- Extensive experience integrating frontend applications with backend services via RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with consuming and visualizing streaming data via APIs or websockets
- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and mobile-first design principles
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows
- Very organized with great attention to detail
- Creative and open to different ideas from stakeholders and other engineers
- Passionate about software engineering and interested in IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things)
