This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building and iterating quickly on new internal products, are proficient in designing and scaling robust API integrations and data infrastructure, and are committed to developing inspiring, maintainable, and reusable code. You'll collaborate closely with teammates across data labeling and machine learning to ensure datasets meet customer needs. The company provides a platform where tens of millions daily explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in experiences built by a global developer community. Office presence is required Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of work experience building production-grade, scalable, and reliable data systems; B.S. equivalent in CS or sufficient equivalent experience - AWS infrastructure understanding (VPC, endpoints, private link, Terraform, Amazon EKS) - Infrastructure networking knowledge (Kubernetes ingress, load balancers, VPC networking) - Data infrastructure understanding (Trino/Spark system configuration) - Strong SQL and distributed engine knowledge - Python and notebook data stack proficiency (e.g., pandas, ibis) - Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to build systems that enable and accelerate team productivity
