The Engineering team is responsible for developing core business products and delivering them to production efficiently. The team architects solutions around provisioning, configuration, CI/CD, monitoring, SLA, performance, and uptime—processing millions of transactions monthly while interconnecting hundreds of partners worldwide.
In this Senior Software Engineer role based in Barcelona, you will work on highly available, API-exposed services that power the platform. You'll participate in designing, implementing, and shipping new products to internal and external stakeholders; deliver high-quality, testable, secure, scalable, and documented software; champion agile practices including code reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, and daily stand-ups; and evaluate new technologies and initiatives. The role combines a startup mindset with the scale of an established industry leader, requiring you to own your code end-to-end—writing, testing, and deploying multiple times daily.
The team is global (40+ nationalities across 5 continents) and you'll interface with technology teams in different countries. The environment emphasizes learning, feedback, and building world-class engineering teams.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Golang
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and message brokers (AWS SNS/SQS, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Experience designing and developing web and API solutions
- Passion for Agile Methodology and practices (TDD, CI, CD)
- Interest in Fintech industry and market innovations
- Motivated, curious, and appetite for learning
