Salary: USD 155,000 - 250,000 / annual

The Application Engineering Team is responsible for driving the core of the product by empowering VPs, marketers, sales ops, and sales reps with top-tier solutions for MedTech sales teams. You will partner with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build end-to-end features across web and mobile platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with customers, engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to shape solutions to real-world challenges - Develop key features and workflows for products that improve patient access to medical technology - Use data insights to identify product enhancements, resolve performance issues, and discover new opportunities - Contribute to team culture by helping streamline processes and strengthen team dynamics - Explore and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve scalability and speed - Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge to support their growth - Build using agentic tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) and push the boundaries of agentic development The role involves working across multiple tech stacks including JavaScript, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, Python, and SQL. AcuityMD is a remote-first company with a Boston hub. Expect 4-5 in-person opportunities per year through company and team on-sites. If based near Boston, there is no set requirement for office attendance. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on product domains - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience - Full stack proficiency with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, Postgres or other relational databases, BigQuery, and Google Cloud services (or equivalent) - Obsessed with customer needs and driven to deliver impact in a fast-paced environment - Curious mindset with enthusiasm for learning about and working with latest technologies and agentic tools - Team player who leads with empathy and leads by example - Nice to have: experience building agentic experiences (tool use/function calling, multi-step reasoning, orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or similar) - Must have eligible work permit in the USA
